Facilty Progress

Estero Llano Grande State Parks new visitor center is completed! The new visitor center features a park store, a classroom/meeting hall, a deck overlooking one of the four ponds created by Duck’s Unlimited, and offices for park staff. From the new visitor centers deck there are great views of Wood Storks, Roseate Spoonbills, White Ibis, Black-bellied and Fulvous Whistling Ducks, and many other birds.

Other features that have been completed include: park maintenance building; boardwalks; observation deck; water features; restoration of an old pavilion near Alligator Pond; and over 3 miles of handicap accessible trails.
